Being a local not-for-profit disability employment agency, we are committed to making a positive impact in our community by providing meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, injury or illness. NQ Employment has established a social enterprise company called North Queensland Green Solutions which operates 5 social enterprise businesses that are designed not only to provide real-world work experience but also to generate revenue that supports our mission to empower, train and employ people with disabilities, injury or illness in a diverse range of industries.

Our Social Enterprise Businesses

North Queensland Green Solutions operates several successful social enterprises that contribute to the local economy while providing our participants essential job training and employment skills. These businesses span a variety of industries including lawn care services and Container for Change recycling. These businesses are designed to give individuals with disabilities real-world experiences in the workplace. By supporting our services, you’re supporting our clients and helping them thrive, whilst also supporting the communities that these business's are established in.
