Who is NQ Employment?

NQ Employment is a North Queensland based employment service, committed to finding meaningful employment for its job seekers and sourcing the right candidate for an employer's vacancy. Our job seekers include people with a disability, injury, disadvantage and Indigenous Australians.

We are a Disability Employment Service (DES) provider, funded by the Department of Employment, Education and Workplace Relations (DEEWR). Our team of experienced consultants takes an innovative approach to finding employment for job seekers and the right candidates for employers and has a proven record in job-matching people to jobs.

As a federally funded, not-for-profit organisation we can provide our services at no cost, and there are a range of incentives available for employers with vacancies, including wages subsidies, workplace modifications and a supported wage system.

For our job seekers we provide a range of assistance including vocational guidance and career planning, access to training, support preparing your resume and job applications, assistance with interview techniques and ongoing support in the workplace.

For employers, we can take care of screening and recruitment, ongoing support, assistance with workplace modifications and support to obtain incentives.

We have offices in Ayr, Charters Towers, Ingham and Townsville conveniently located to serve each community.
